IntimFlex FAQ
What is IntimFlex?
IntimFlex is a bodywork + fitness class focused on pelvic mobility, strength endurance (core/legs/pelvic floor), breath, and embodied movement patterns. The goal is to help you feel more open, stable, and in flow—in daily life, movement, and (if relevant to you) intimacy.
Is IntimFlex a “sex class”?
No. IntimFlex is a movement-based training session. There is no nudity, no sexual acts, and no partner practice. The content may support your confidence, sensation, and flow in intimacy, but the class itself stays firmly in body training + embodiment.
What happens in a session?
A typical session includes: warm‑up and mobility (hips/pelvis/spine) dynamic positions + angle work + holding time strength endurance for pelvic floor, legs, and core mixed with little breaks inbetween for breath work, pelvic floor activation and relaxation exercises, jaw tension release and much more in different intervalls to keep things varied. stretching and down‑regulation
Who is IntimFlex for?
IntimFlex is for women who want to feel stronger, freer, and more deeply connected to their body. To build pelvic strength and mobility, increase flexibility, and release tension in the hips. To open up areas of the body that may have become tight, guarded, or habitual, unwind old holding patterns, and gently make space for what the body has been carrying. To reclaim a deeper sense of body autonomy — feeling more at home in themselves, more aware of what they need, and more confident in how they move. So movement begins to feel easier, confidence more natural, and flow more available. You do not need to be flexible, sporty, or experienced — just open to exploring your body in a new way. (there are different levels to most exercises)
Do I need dance / pole / yoga experience?
No — you do not need any dance, pole, or yoga experience. You are welcome even without prior experience. The exercises can be performed at different levels, so you can begin exactly where you are. Many participants come with different kinds of movement or body experience — others are starting completely new. Both are absolutely welcome. If you feel that you would benefit from building a bit more foundation in strength, coordination, or body awareness first, a personal training session can be a beautiful way to create that base. This can help you start the practice with more confidence, safety, and ease.
How intense is it?
It ranges from moderate to strong, depending on your level and how you scale. You can always choose: smaller range of motion shorter holds more breaks You’ll be guided to train smart, not hard.
What should I wear?
Tight-fitting sports leggings
What should I bring?
A cloth or towel – ideally soft, so your knees can glide on it. (Synthetic fabric works best.) If you dance, you may also bring soft knee pads. Something to drink.
Do I need to bring a mat?
The current studio has sufficient mats. If that ever changes I will inform you to bring a mat.
Is it women-only?
Yes—IntimFlex is held as a women’s space to support safety, ease, and openness. Classes for Men are in planning but will be held strictly separated.
Is the space private / protected?
Yes. IntimFlex is designed as a respectful, protected space where you can arrive in your body with more ease, safety, and openness. Everything is invitational - there is no pressure to perform, no need to prove anything, and no expectation to go beyond what feels right for you. In Zurich (Kanzleistrasse 78), it can happen that another class is being held on the ground floor at the same time, and the bathrooms are on the same floor as our room. The studio door is closed during the session, though now and then it may be possible to hear someone passing by outside. Within the room itself, the space is held with care, privacy, and clear respect for everyone present.
Will there be touch or partner work?
No partner work. Any touch cues (if used at all) are optional and consent-based. Most of the session is self-practice.
I’m shy / nervous - can I still come?
Absolutely. Many participants arrive nervous and leave surprised by how normal, grounded, and supportive it feels. You can stay quiet, take breaks, and participate at your own pace. If it still feels to overwhelming, I would suggest a personal training. This way you can get comfortable on your own terms.
Can I join while I’m on my period?
Yes — in most cases, absolutely. Your period can also be a time of pause, inwardness, and deeper listening. For some women, that means rest feels more aligned. For others, gentle or even moderate movement can feel supportive and nourishing. Both are valid. If you feel well-resourced and have enough energy, you are very welcome to join. You are always encouraged to listen to your body, reduce intensity where needed, and move in a way that feels supportive rather than forceful. You can take more breaks, choose smaller ranges of motion, or simply stay softer in your practice. The practice is there to support your connection with your body — not to override it.
What about pregnancy or postpartum?
Please check with your healthcare provider first. In many cases, movement can still be supportive during pregnancy and after birth — but it often needs to be adapted to your body, your stage of healing, and your energy. Pregnancy may call for a more modified format, with a support cushion to sit on rather than muscular intensity alone. Postpartum, it depends on your recovery — especially your pelvic floor, core, scar healing if relevant, and how supported your body feels overall. Gentle movement may be appropriate for some, while others may need more time, rest, or a slower return. If you are pregnant or postpartum and would like to join, we recommend listening closely to your body, getting clearance where needed, and reaching out in advance so we can help you assess whether the class is a good fit right now
What if I have hip/back/pelvic floor issues?
If you have injuries, pain, prolapse symptoms, or are in physio care, it’s best to get medical clearance. IntimFlex can be adapted, but it’s not a substitute for therapy.
How will I feel after class?
Many participants leave a session feeling pleasantly activated and, at the same time, surprisingly relaxed. Often there is a greater sense of openness in the hips, freer breath, and more ease in movement. A finer body awareness often emerges as well — the body is felt more consciously, more clearly, and with greater nuance. Vital energy feels awakened, and one’s own erotic energy may become more present. Some also experience the practice as grounding or emotionally releasing. Mild muscle soreness is possible, especially in the legs.
How do I book?
Booking depends. Classes are usually published on Eventfrog. You can also write me on Instagram.
How much does it cost?
During the pilot phase, classes are offered on a donation basis. In Zurich, a common guideline is around CHF 20 per hour (at the lower level). At the same time, I do not want cost to be the reason you stay away. If you feel called to come, you are very welcome. Additional support can also take other forms — for example, bringing a friend or sharing IntimFlex on social media. After the pilot phase, regular pricing will apply and will be announced in due course. Personal training: CHF 120 per hour
What is your cancellation policy?
During the pilot phase, it is enough to let me know as early as possible — ideally at least 6 hours in advance. On Whatsapp so it arrives on the most direct channel. Once classes move into regular paid ticketing, a 24-hour cancellation policy will apply.
How early should I arrive?
5-10 minutes is enough. (depending whether you still need to change)
Can photos/videos be taken?
No not at all. You are free to record me, if I can use it for my social media as well.
